Hi everyone. The is my 2nd card in my background series with the peony dies. This is my favorite background and easy to make.

Background:
Use a piece of Distress Kraft Heavy stock cut to 5 ” x 3 3/4″. Apply Distress Crackle Paste Opaque on the background randomly, leaving some areas uncovered. Let air dry. Do not heat. Randomly rub in Distress crayons vertically using Forest Most, Vintage Photo, Rusty Hing, and Peeled Paint. Use a baby wipe and rub the crayons into the panel. I used my finger and a little water. Let dry.

Focal Image:
Die cut the Delightful Peony Blossom die from Cranberry paper. Ink blend using Distress Aged Mahogany ink for the dark ink. For the lighter color us Oxide Distress Spun Sugar. Adhere together using the envelope as a guide.
Assembly:
Use the Cranberry paper to create an A2 side folder card. Adhere the background with foam tape. Adhere the flower to the center of the card. Stamp life is beautiful from the Hello Butterfly stamp set on Cranberry paper using black ink. Fussy cut out and adhere under the flower.
