I made two cards today using the HELLO BUTTERFLY clear stamp set and Anemone and Fuchsia plaid papers.
materials used
two pieces of pink plaid papers from FUCHSIA PLAID PP1029
two pieces of light blue plaid papers from ANEMONE PLAID PP1025
the large butterfly stamp from HELLO BUTTERFLY CLEAR STAMP SET CL5289
"life is beautiful" from HELLO BUTTERFLY CLEAR STAMP SET CL5289
VersaFine Clair Nocturne (black) Ink
detail scissors (the stamp set is also available as a stamp/die set CL5289D)
to make these cards
Cut a piece of light blue plaid paper 5 1/4 X 4 and add it to the front of a white A2 note card.
Stamp the sentiment onto that plaid paper near the bottom of the panel.
Stamp the butterfly multiple times on the pink plaid paper.
Use detail scissors to cut out the butterflies or use the die that comes with the stamps/die set.
Add the butterflies to the front of the note card, placing at least one flat on the front and use dimensional foam dots to pop up at least one butterfly.
Using the plaid papers is an easy shortcut to beautifully colored butterflies!
