Peony and Butterflies Card
by Donna Sledzik

Happy Thursday everyone!  Since this month’s challenge is butterflies, I thought I would use the new Ethereal Butterflies die set along with the Peony Bud Stems die for my card today.

I began by die cutting the butterflies, leaves and buds from white cardstock and added color by using a blending brush with ink.

I created the background for my card by lightly ink blending Gina K’s Light Orchid ink in the center of a white cardstock panel.  Next I used the left over die cut butterfly cardstock as a stencil and added some butterflies to my ink blended background.

I inked all the flowers, leaves and butterflies and assembled them.  I used foam tape to adhere them to my card.

The word Hello was die cut from black cardstock and glued to white cardstock shadow die cut.  I used foam tape to adhere it the card.

I glued the card front to a black cardstock mat and adhered it to a white card base.

That’s it for today!  Thanks for stopping by.
