Are you ready for some holiday stamping? There are so many great new items!
To get things started I am going to share a project using the cute new Snowy Owl with the very versatile Fan Stitched Scalloped Frames set!
To make the owl card, I first started by cutting one of the Fan Stitch Scalloped Frames out of 140lb watercolor paper and then painting the section behind where the owl would be with Peerless watercolor paints:
I used Cobalt blue paint with hints of a light lavender.
Next, I cut out the snowy owl and added a bit of shading to the die cut pieces with Copic markers. For the base of the owl, I sponged some Antique Linen and Vintage Photo Distress ink.
The Pine Berry Branch has branch and needle sections, so I cut out that piece with white cardstock and then colored the branch with a brown Copic marker and the needles with a green Copic marker.
To finish the card, I added the berries and drew white highlights onto the eyes of the owl and the tops of the berries.
