Valentine Bouquet
by Jean Okimoto

Happy Friday! Let’s turn the new Daisy Umbrellas upside-down to create a contemporary Valentine card…because February 14th is just 3 weeks away! Combine the sweet detailed Cherish Heart with letters from the Vintage Varsity Alphabet set for the greeting.

Cut two sets of Daisy Umbrellas from light peach cardstock. Cut two sets of the stems and centers from Black Glossy Cardstock. Layer the petals to create 3 different blossoms – 1 with slender petals and 1 with wider petals. The 3rd combines the slender and wide petals. Attach the black diecuts between the layers and add the stems.

Cut white cardstock with the 2.75″ x 4″ Wrapped Stitched Rectangle die.

Cut the Vintage Varsity Alphabet letters and the small Cherish Heart from dark reddish-coral cardstock in the Blush 6×6 pack.

Attach the diecuts to a white A6 card (4.5″ x 6.25″). Add 1/4″ dots punched from the pale peach Delicate Pastel Glitter Pad 6×6. Cut an A6-sized piece of cardstock to protect the card front for mailing.

Thanks for visiting – keep warm and have a great weekend!
