Hi everyone. I have another rainy day card but added flowers and a friend for the Rainy Day Mouse. The card will brighten up someone’s day.

For the background die cut light blue paper from the Lagoon pad using the Raindrop Plate die. Adhere to a side folding white A2 size card. Trim green paper from the Greenery pad to 41/4” x 3”. Then fussy cut a hill. Adhere with thin foam tape to the bottom of the card. Die cuts using white card stock using the 2nd largest Fringed Scalloped frame die. Trim to fit the top of the card to make it look like a clouds. Stamp Hello Friend from the Hello Butterfly stamp set with black ink. Adhere to the top of the card using thick foam tape.

Using the Flower Basket Bouquet die cut the larger flowers from the Blush, Lagoon and Sunshine pads. I choose light colors so I can ink blend to add depth. Die cut the tulip leaves and stems from various shades of green paper from the Greenery pad. Shade with darker green inks to add depth. You can use your favorite inks. The paper takes ink really well. Just pick colors that are 2-3 shades darker so it shows up. Adhere the flowers together using the envelope as a guide.
Die cut the Rainy Day Mouse and the Young Goose from white card stock. Die cut the rain coat and hats from light yellow paper from the Sunshine pas. Ink blend the goose with Distress Lost Shadows and Hickory Smoke to add shading. For the mouse use Antique Linen, Vintage Photo and Spun Sugar. Adhere the animals together using the envelope as a guide.

Arrange the flowers and leaves behind the hill and adhere using glue. Adhere the mouse and goose to the bottom of the card using double sided tape.
