Hi everyone. I have a card using a lot of the new dies to create a floating basket with the mouse delivering presents for Valentine’s Day.
For the background die cut the Pinpoint Flower Plate from white card stock. Lightly ink blend with Distress Broken China then Salty Ocean. Adhere to a side folding white A2 card.
Die cut the heart shaped balloons from the Wavy Balloons die set from light red paper from the Blush pad. Ink blend the side with Distress Aged Mahogany. Cover the balloons in Glossy Accents and let air dry.
Die cut the mouse form Sebastian Mouse set and the basket from the Woven Flower Basket from white card stock. Ink blend using Distress inks. For the mouse use Antique Linen, Spun Sugar and Vintage Photo. Foe the basket use Lumberjack Plaid and Aged Mahogany. Adhere together using the envelope as a guide. Die cut the Gifts Galore from shiny and matte gold paper from the Vintage Pastel Mirror pad. Adhere them together mixing the shinny and matte die cuts on the gift.
Adhere the mouse under the basket handle. Arrange and adhere the gifts around the mouse. Tie 3 pieces of clear string (or gold) to the top of the handle. Adding a little liquid glue to the back. Make sure the strings are at least 5-6 inches long. Adhere the basket to the bottom center of the card. Tie the other end of the clear string (or gold) to the bottom of the balloons. The balloons should be able to reach the top of the card. Adhere the center balloon using foam tape. Adhere the other 2 balloons under the center. Stamp the word love from the love your way stamp from the Sunshine And Wildflowers set with red ink on a blank tag from the Birthday Party Foil Greeting tags. Adhere to the basket under the handle.
