Welcome spring with a basket of fresh blossoms and a sweet bunny. The Flower Basket Bouquet set adds colorful texture and dimension – and the Poppystamps Nordic Adorable Bunny is the perfect size!

The delicate Happy Easter Curled Script is inlaid to create a greeting inside the card. Cut a 6×6 from the Greenery Solid Core Cardstock pack with the 2.5″ x 1.5″ Nested Globes die. Spritz both sides with a light mist of water and pressure-emboss it using the rubber embossing mat and plate(s) required for your machine. Cut it, leave it in the die and tape the reverse side to keep the pieces intact. Pressure-embossing and diecutting the greeting adds extra dimension – and it’s faster than gluing!

Cut the same green cardstock with the 3.5″ x 4.5″ Nested Globes die.
Cut the Flower Basket Bouquet blossoms, centers and foliage from coral, light peach, yellow and green cardstock from the Blush, Sunrise and Greenery cardstock packs. It’s easier and faster to cut all of the design from different colors, then mix, match and layer them – vs. cutting specific pieces from each color. Save one of the tiny centers for the bunny’s boutonnière. Stash the extra diecuts for other projects. Assemble the blossoms.
Cut the solid basket base, handle and trim from light kraft cardstock. Cut the base with the detailed die. Cut another solid base from a dark olive Greenery 6×6 and attach it behind the kraft basket. Trim and reduce the height of the handle – the completed basket will be about 3-7/8″ tall.
Cut Nordic Adorable Bunny from watercolor paper or heavy white cardstock. Cut the “underlayer” for the ears from pink cardstock – color the eye areas with a black marker. Bunny’s arms are designed to face downwards because he usually wears a sweater. Attach the arms facing upwards instead. Attach the boutonnière.

Attach the diecuts to a top-folded white A2 card – don’t adhere the top half of the basket where the blossoms and bunny will be inserted. Use foam tape behind the bunny’s head. Cut an A2-sized piece of cardstock to protect the card front for mailing.
Easter’s my favorite holiday – love the colors, flowers, bunnies and dark chocolate eggs. Have fun creating spring and Easter cards in your favorite colors!
