Need a Quick Card? Dahlia Stems and Greeting Tabs to the Rescue!
by Anne Thompson

What to do when you need a card in a hurry? Pull out the DAHLIA STEMS CS2087 and a selection of FOIL GREETING TABS, some black ink and glossy black paper, and blank greeting cards, and you’ll have a lovely card in no time! I made these three cards shown above in a matter of minutes.

These are the supplies I used: blank white note cards; white card stock; VersaFine Clair Nocturne (black) ink; BLACK GLOSSY PAPER SH44004; DAHLIA STEMS CS2087 cling stamp; ST031 THINKING OF YOU FOIL GREETING BLACK TABS; ST029 CONGRATULATIONS FOIL GREETINGS BLACK TABS; ST025 HAPPY BIRTHDAY FOIL GREETINGS BLACK TABS; AND ST020 ADVENT FOILO BLACK CIRCLE TABS.

I stamped the Dahlia Stems image multiple times on heavy white card stock. I cut one sheet of Glossy Black Paper into 5 1/4 X 4 pieces. I cut the Dahlia Stem images to 4 1/4 X 3. I mounted the stamped images onto the black paper, chose three of them, and then added those to the fronts of three note cards.

For the first card, I added the “THINKING OF YOU” tab.

For the second card, I added a “CONGRATULATIONS” tag.

For the third card, I added a “HAPPY BIRTHDAY” tag as well as a number from the Advent tags. Happy 23rd birthday! or Happy Birthday on the 23rd of the month! Ta-Da!–another way to use those Advent Tags throughout the year!

I like the look of the simply stamped image against the glossy paper, and I really liked the ease of putting these cards together. Just change up the sentiment and it becomes a design that can be used for any number of occasions.
