Happy Easter Card
by Donna Sledzik

Hi everyone! Today I have an Easter Card for you which uses old and new products. It’s always fun to mix products we have with new ones we may have purchased.

I die cut the Pinpoint Flower Plate onto white cardstock, ink blended Distress Oxide Bundled Sage to add a little color to the background and spattered with white ink.

All the flowers, foliage and basket were die cut from white cardstock and ink blended with pink, yellow, lilac, brown and green inks.

The Bunny was die cut from kraft colored cardstock and inked with Ground Expresso Distress Ink. Once I inked the bunny, I assembled it according to the picture on the package. I added a bow to his neck from the Pretty Presents die set, and the inside of the ear was die cut from white cardstock and inked with pink ink. I also added pink ink for his cheek. The eye is a black epoxy dot and I used a black marker to add some whiskers.

The basket was assembled and glued to the background using foam tape. Next I used foam tape to adhere the bunny to the card.

The flowers were assembled and glued into place in the basket. One of the tulips was glued to the bunny’s hand. I tied a bow from thin ribbon and glued it to the basket handle.

I die cut the words “Happy Easter” from gold foil cardstock and glued them to a strip of vellum paper. I wrapped the vellum around the card and adhered it to the back of the panel.

I glued the finished panel to a white card base and it’s finished!

Thanks for stopping by today!
