This is a pocket card I made to hold a packet of flower seeds for a friend’s springtime birthday.

These are the materials I used for this card.

I started with a white A2 note card. I stamped PLAYFUL POPPIES CL5281 on the card front at an angle using VersaFine Clair Nocturne (black) ink. I used a ruler to draw a straight line at an angle and used my detail scissors to cut along that line and around the poppies to delineate the pocket. I colored the images with Prismacolor Pencils and then spattered the card front with gold watercolor paint. I cut a piece of red card stock from the BLUSH COLLECTION SP1012 to 5 1/4 X 4 and glued it inside the card. I then put Scor-Tape along the inside bottom edge of the card front to seal that up to make the pocket.

To finish the card I added one of the HAPPY BIRTHDAY FOIL GREETING WHITE TABS ST024 along the bottom edge of the note card pocket.
Easy peasy! — and sort of the perfect card/gift when you need a little something more than just a card.
