Celebrate a special birthday with glitzy gold-foiled balloons and the Cheerful Penguin. Add a Birthday Party Hat and a Gifts Galore bow. The Poppystamps Basic Ovals Set creates a layered background to match the new Party Balloons Fresh Cuts White Tags. There’s a lot happening here – but most of the work is done for you!
Cut the second- and third-largest Poppystamps Basic Ovals from 2 shades of blue from the Lagoon Solid Core Cardstock Pack. Cut the smaller oval with a portion of the Bubble Burst die. (The 99771 Bubble Burst link isn’t working right now – I’ll add it when it’s available.) Attach an assortment of Party Balloons Fresh Cuts White Tabs – use foam tape for the dotted balloon in the center. Attach a scrap of the blue Rainbow Reflections 6×6 behind the oval so it will shimmer through the dotted cutouts.
Cut a bow from the Gifts Galore set from the gold Rainbow Reflections 6×6.
Cut Cheerful Penguin from textured white cardstock and Black Glossy Paper. Cut the feet and the beak section from an orange 6×6 in the Sunrise Solid Core Cardstock Pack. Color the eye areas with a black marker. Assemble the penguin.
Cut the Birthday Party Hat from the dark teal/blue Rainbow Reflection 6×6. Trim about 1/3″ from the bottom using the bottom edge of the striped hat die. It will add an extra layer of the embossed pattern.
Attach the diecuts to a white A6 card (4.5″ x 6.25″). Add a Happy Birthday Foil Greetings Black Tab. Cut an A6-sized piece of cardstock to protect the card front for mailing
