Warm Wishes from Sarabell
by Jean Okimoto

Sarabell Bird – from the Holiday Harmony release – delivers warm winter wishes. Plush wool-blend felt creates a Stitchable Mitten and Sarabell’s cozy scarf and beanie.

Cut the 3.5″ wide Nested Globe die from heavy white cardstock and attach it to a top-folded A2 card. Attach adhesive label paper (or a sticker sheet) to light green and pink wool-blend felt. The paper backing stabilizes the felt and prevents adhesives from saturating it.

Cut Stitchable Mitten from the green felt. Cut the cuff from the green and pink Fuchsia Plaid 6×6. Attach a narrow strip of white cardstock behind the top row of dots on the cuff to match the white background visible through the other dots.

Cut Sarabell Bird from two shades of kraft cardstock. Cut an extra arm from the darker cardstock. Cut the feet and the base layer for the face from a light yellow-orange Sunrise Solid Core Cardstock Pack sheet. Color the eye areas with a black marker.

Cut her scarf and hat from the pink felt. It’s actually a Santa’s hat – I trimmed the top to make it a beanie.

Cut 2 snowflakes from the Drifting Snowflakes set from the silver Majestic Hues Glitter Pad sheet. Punch 1/4″ dots from the pink Delicate Pastels Glitter Pad.

Cover white cardstock with ScorTape and cut the Warm Wishes background. Cut the detailed greeting overlay from light pink cardstock and press it onto the adhesive-covered background. Sprinkle the remaining exposed adhesive with detail clear embossing powder, tap off the excess, and heat-emboss it.

Cut an A2-sized piece of cardstock to protect the card front for mailing.
