Send heartfelt greetings – literally – with felt flowers on a Cherish Heart background. Layer felt blossoms from the versatile Flower Basket Bouquet and Woven Flower Basket die sets and create a spring bouquet for any occasion. It could send thanks, get well wishes, congratulations – or celebrate Mother’s Day!
Attach adhesive label paper (or a sticker sheet) to light pink, dark pink and peach wool-blend felt. The paper backing stabilizes the felt and prevents adhesives from saturating it. Cut an assortment of flowers from the Flower Basket Bouquet and Woven Flower Basket die sets. Cut the centers from two shades of green in the Greenery Solid Core Cardstock Pack. Cut the leaves from the Flower Basket Bouquet from a darker green. Assemble the flowers.
Prep the largest Cherish Heart by rubbing it briskly with scrunched waxed paper to help release the tiny round offcuts. Cut it from watercolor paper. Stitch 7 stems using green twine – angled and overlapping. Attach the leaves and flowers.
Cut the three tiny star-shaped centers from the Flower Basket Bouquet set from dark pink felt.
Attach the diecuts to a top-folded white A2 card – use tiny strips of foam tape between groups of the tiny circles to add dimension.
Attach a tab from the Thinking of You Foil Greetings Black set – use foam tape for the right edge. Cut an A2-sized piece of cardstock to protect the card front for mailing. This card is lightweight but may require special postal handling because of the thickness of the felt.
