Quick Birthday Card
by Sara Cook

Hi everyone. I have a quick birthday card door today, utilizing the different tabs. You can easily change up the color scheme as well.

Die cut mixed media card stock using the 2nd largest die from the Heritage Rectangle Frame set. Ink smoosh using a jelly plate and Distress Spray stain. Spray 2-3 time on the jelly plate then spritz with water. Flip over the plate and tap into the paper. You can dry in-between layers for a more bold look or keep wet for a softer look. The color combo is Spun Sugar, Saltwater Taffy and Dried Marigold. Tried different color combos for different looks. After the paper is dry splatter with gold paint.

Trim a piece of heavy card stock 1/4” bigger then the frame. Paint the edges with the same gold paint. I used the Yellow Gold from the Gansai Tambi.

Trim matching paper from the Sunrise pad to A2 size. Adhere to a white A2 card base and the adhere the gold panted paper and then the frame die cut.

Tie gold string to 3 of the Party Balloon Fresh Cuts White Tags. Adhere to the card using foam tape. Take the string and Adhere them together ising double sides tape to the center. Adhere the Happy Birthday Foil Greeting Large White Tab to the center of the card over the string, letting a little of the string hang down.
