Need a card for someone going through challenging times? Let a Rainy Day Mouse in a wildflower parka deliver a note of support and caring thoughts. Bright yellow Round Eyelet Circle Frames add a sunny, upbeat touch.
Prep the 3 smaller Round Eyelet Circle Frames by rubbing them briskly with scrunched waxed paper to help release the tiny offcuts. Cut them from a bright yellow 6×6 in the Sunrise Solid Core Cardstock Pack.
Cut Rainy Day Mouse from two shades of gray cardstock. Color the eye areas with a black marker. Cut the small oval layer for the mouth from pink cardstock.
Cover the pale aqua Poppystamps Birthday Fun floral print with packing tape and cut the parka. It’ll be glossy – like it’s waterproof! Assemble the mouse – attach the arm section to the reverse side of the parka – it’s easier than trying to guess where it should be glued to the mouse.
Cut a 1″ x 4-1/8″ strip of the floral print.
Attach everything to a slightly smaller side-folded white A6 card (4-1/2″ x 6″) – use foam tape for the mouse. Cut an A6-sized piece of cardstock to protect the card front for mailing.
Stamp the greeting – from the Sunshine and Wildflowers Clear Stamp Set – on white cardstock with Warm Breeze VersaFine Clair. Quickly heat-emboss it with detail clear powder.
Soft colors, quiet thoughts – and a mouse in a parka – will surely brighten someone’s day!
