Here’s a fractured poppies card! This is not exactly what I thought I was going to make when I started out, but I am happy with the final product. I needed a quick and easy thank you card to get out in the mail asap.
I started with a white horizontal side-fold A2 note card. I covered the front with one of the red papers from the BLUSH COLLECTION SP1012.

I stamped the PLAYFUL POPPIES CL5281 on white card stock using VersaFine Clair Nocturne (black) ink.

I colored the poppies and stems using PrismaColor pencils and then spattered everything with gold and white watercolor paints, I added a touch of gold to each of the flower stamens. Once the paint was dry I cut the image into three pieces. I adhered those to a sheet of black card stock, staggering them apart a bit, and then trimmed everything to leave a narrow black border around the images.

After I attached this panel to the note card, I added one of the THANK YOU FOIL GREETINGS BLACK TAGS STOO5 to the lower right corner.

Now I want to look at all of my stamps to see what else I might be able to fracture!
