Send caring thoughts with the new Arched Flower Basket filled with bright summer blossoms. A Cinched Frame creates a quiet backdrop and Brilliant Butterflies flutter nearby.
Cut watercolor paper with the 2.8″ x 4.1″ Cinched Frame die. Attach it to a white A6 card (4.5″ x 6.25″).

Cut Arched Flower Basket from the dark teal 6×6 in the Lagoon Solid Core Cardstock Pack. Trim the height of the handle and pressure-emboss the basketweave texture instead of cutting it – use a rubber embossing mat and the plate(s) required for your machine. The curved borders at the top and bottom are attached flush with the top and bottom edges. I tried to streamline the basket’s design to let the textures, shapes and bright colors of the flowers stand out. Attach only the sides and bottom of the basket to the card with foam tape – leave the top edge unattached to insert the stems.
Cut the flowers and centers from light orange, bright orange and turquoise 6×6’s in the Sunrise and Lagoon Solid Core Cardstock Packs. I cut all of the flowers from all 3 colors, then mixed, matched and layered the different shapes and colors. Cut the leaves and the round centers from black cardstock.

Attach the leaves, then add the flowers. Cut Brilliant Butterflies from the aqua Rainbow Reflections Mirror Pad 6×6. Attach ScorTape behind a scrap of the 6×6 and diecut the butterfly centers – run it through the machine several times to cut through the cardstock, the tape and the tapeliner. Add three butterflies to the card
Attach a Thinking of You Foil Greetings White tab – use foam tape for the right edge. Cut an A6-sized piece of cardstock to protect the card front for mailing.
