Butterfly Wishes
by Jean Okimoto

Hearts aren’t just for February, weddings and anniversaries – let them send support and caring thoughts whenever someone needs a hug. Delicately-detailed Cherish Heart Frames, soft colors and shimmery gold highlights add a bit of prettiness to a friendship card.

Cut the medium-sized Cherish Heart from pale pink cardstock. I spritzed a scrap of pink/lavender/peach ink-blended watercolor paper from my stash with Imagine’s Gold Shimmer Spritz. Air-dried it for a few minutes, then heat-set it. Cut it with the new Brilliant Butterflies die.

Attach gold cardstock to ScorTape and cut the butterfly centers. Assemble the butterflies – save the extra one for another project.

Cut a 5-1/2″ x 6″ piece of white cardstock. Score it at 2-3/8″ and 3-1/4″ to create a dimensional A2 card. Attach the diecuts – use foam tape for the butterflies.

Stamp the greeting – from the Sunshine and Wildflowers Clear Stamp Set – on white cardstock with Morning Mist VersaFine Clair. Quickly heat-emboss it with detail clear powder.

Add 1/4″ dots punched from the pink Delicate Pastels Glitter Pad 6×6. Cut an A2-sized piece of cardstock to protect the card front for mailing.

Thanks for visiting our blog…see you again on Friday!
