It Must be Christmas in July!
by Anne Thompson

2026 Christmas Charm is the newest release from Memory Box, just in time for Christmas in July! Twenty-six new dies! My card today features three of them: Fan Stitch Scalloped Arch Frames 94967, Evergreen Holly Bundle 94988, and Perky Bow 94997.

To make this card I began by die cutting the Fan Stitch Scalloped Arch Frames–I love these!–in several sizes from both white card stock and one of the deep cranberry reds from the Blush Card Stock Pad SP1012. I kept trying different combinations and then decided to layer up four of them alternating the red and white. I added that stack to the front of an A2 note card. The Evergreen Holly Bundle is sure to show up on almost every card I make for the holidays this year. It’s the perfect combination of holiday greenery. I cut all the pieces from the Greenery Card Stock Pad SP1011. I used Glue Dots to cluster everything together into a bundle and added the tiniest white pearls for mistletoe. For the Perky Bow I used a scrap of gold mirror card. I used Scor-Tape to attach the greens to the stacked frames on the card front and added the bow at the bottom.

Be sure to check out the 2026 Christmas Charm Collection on the Memory Box website–it’s going live today. Watch for lots of inspiration this month from the design team here on the blog. And you can enter your creations in our Christmas in July blog contest. So even though the temperatures around here and almost everywhere else are soaring, it’s time to start thinking about fall and winter cards and crafts.
