I have to admit, I really love the new Lumi Bird die. It is just too cute! I am probably being swayed by how sweet his little hat is.
To make the card, I cut out all of the bird pieces using white cardstock. I colored the hat and the scarf with Copic markers, but I used Distress Inks and a sponge to color the body, face and wings of the bird. To give the bird some extra detail, I added cheek circles with my R20 Copic marker and added a dot of white to the centers of the eyes with a Grabbie white acrylic marker.
For the background, I cut out a couple of arches, but I really wanted to add a bit of sparkle to the card. Therefore, I cut out my branch for the bird using Memory Box glitter paper.
