Holiday Robin
by Laura Fulcher

Greetings friends. Welcome to the weekend. I am exited to share today’s card with you that features the Holiday Robin along with the Harvest Basket dies. I think they work really well together, especially if you add the Evergreen Holly Bundle. You could easily swap out the type of leaves in the basket to make a card that you could use year-round.

To make the card, I cut out my scalloped rectangle using woodgrain paper. It is hard to tell from the photos, but it adds a nice bit of texture to the background.

I then cut out the basket from kraft and medium brown cardstock. I added a bit of sponged Vintage Photo Distress ink to add a bit more interest.

For the bird, I die cut the bird from kraft cardstock and then sponged the one and tail with brown ink and the feathers underneath the wing with blue ink. I cut the scarf out of white cardstock and colored the pieces with Copic markers.

For the leaves and berries, I cut out the pieces in red and green cardstock and then sponged the edges of the leaves with green ink. For the berries, I added a little red marker at the base of each circle and added a dot of white pen to the centers of each berry as a highlight.

Here is a close up of the bird:

Have a fantastic weekend!
