This card uses a variety of card stock papers and these dies: the largest of the FAN STITCH SCALLOPED ARCH FRAMES 94967; EVERGREEN TREE STAND 94969; FRESH POINSETTIA BUNDLE 94996; and just the word “JOY” from SENDING JOY TIMELESS SCRIPT 94999.

To make this card, choose a red paper from the Blush Collection SP1012 or a piece of Cherry Red Paper SH44015, trim it to 4 X 5 1/4, and add it to the front of an A2 note card. Die cut the largest Fan Stitch Scalloped Arch Frame from white card stock and add it to the front of the note card in the center. Use black card stock for the Evergreen Tree Stand and place that toward the base of the arch frame. Choose a red from the Blush collection, a green from Greenery SP1011, and a scrap of yellow from the Sunrise collection SP1013 to cut out all of the parts of the Fresh Poinsettia Bundle. Assemble the flowers with their leaves (I used Glue Dots for this) and use Dimensional foam dots to secure them near the base of the tree stand.

To bring more red onto the card front and to fill in some of the white space near the top of the arch, cut Sending Joy from a scrap of red card stock and trim it down to use just the word “JOY”. Glue this in place near the top of the arch frame.

One more card finished for the Christmas cupboard! (I have a dedicated cupboard in my dining room where I stash cards and gifts for the holidays, birthdays, and other special occasions throughout the year.)
How many cards are in your Christmas stash already?
