Inspiration

The new What's in the Box stamps are beautiful. I am excited to be using some of the new stamps  in my February classes at Stamp Scrap n Morein Mundelein IL.

As soon as my eyes saw the new tree stamp Brilliant Tree  I knew I had to ink it up and play with it!

Recipe:

1.  Create background on 4" x 5 1/4" white card stock by sponging on purple and blue dye inks. Sponge on both colors in various areas on the white caustic until completely covered.

2.  Drip water randomly on the dye ink background to create the water spotting. I like to use the spray nozzle from my mister and I will pull it out with the water still in the nozzle and touch the water from the straw part onto the dye ink background randomly.

3.  Stamp tree stamp onto dye ink background with Versamark Watermark Ink pad.  Heat emboss using white embossing powder.

4.  Stamp Create, Explore Discover using a dark blue pigment ink along the right edge of the dye ink background.

5. Stamp the butterflies using versamark on the top right of the card. Heat emboss using the Kaleidescope embossing powder.

6. Stamp the You are an Inspiration onto another background created from dye ink using the Versamark Watermark ink pad. Heat emboss using white embossing powder.  Cut and mount on white card stock. Pop Dot and attach to the card front.

7. Punch butterflies from white card stock.

8. Glue dot butterflies floating across top right of card front.

9. Attach main image to front of white card stock.
