Spring Tags

I decided to create a few spring tags using the standard ATC size (3 1/2" x 2 1/2")  as my starting point.

Recipe:

1. Stamp Distressed Tag using ink on white cardstock. Die Cut and trim to 3 /14".
2. Stamp Dogwood Branch along right side of tag.
3. Stamp Dreams Definition on white cardstock two times.
4. Stamp over Dreams definition with butterfly and dogwood.
5. Color with pink and green watercolor pencils and waterbrush on all images. 
6. stamp sentiment over dreams definition. Cut to size.
7. Use waterbrush and watercolor pencil to apply color to seam binding. Spritz with water, scrunch and repeat until color desired.  Use same method to apply color to flower.

I wish I could say it took me ten minutes to create the tags. 🙂 But it took me a little longer to figure out the design and elements.  After I figured it out on the first tag the second tag took a very short time to create. 🙂
