Greetings friends, and Happy Halloween! Do you have something special planned? I thought it a “must” to post a Halloween card today.
To make my card, I cut out an arch using grey cardstock and then placed a white circle in the center to be my moon. I then sponged the edges with Antique Linen, Hickory Smoke and Black Soot Distress ink. I then masked the circle and splattered the sky with some white ink.
Next, I cut out two more grey tags and cut off the bottom of the tags to be my grey hills. I edged them with more of the Black Soot Distress ink to give them a bit of dimension. The bottom hill is popped up with a little foam tape that is hard to see. Again, it added a bit more dimension.
Next, I cut out my tree from brown cardstock and edged it with some Gathered Twigs Distress ink. Last time I cut out one of the stumps, I put a little white glue behind it. I wish i had done the same for this card. I used a glue stick, and some of the glue stuck in the trunk crevices. If you use a glue stick on the trunk, make sure to dab it on the back rather than smearing it on the back. It will help avoid getting glue in the slits.
To embellish the side of the cards, I added some arched trees that were edged in more of the Gathered Twigs ink. I added my bat and sentiment using Nocturne Versafine Clair ink (the best black in my opinion) and then finished by adding my die cut ghost and Copic colored pumpkins. Here is a close up:

Thanks for stopping by, and I wish you all a fun and safe Halloween.
