Wouldn't a sweet little Plush Angel on a Snowdrift Breeze background brighten a cold winter day? I hope so! Hi, Jean Okimoto here with my last holiday card for 2017. It's been a quick, busy year and now Christmas is just a week away…
Cut Plush Angel - except the wings, heart and facial features – from felt. Instead of two feet ovals and two hand circles, I cut four ovals for the hands and feet. Glue the extra ovals between the sleeve layers for her hands. Cut the wings and heart from pink glittered craft foam. Cut the eyes from glossy black cardstock.
Stitch and assemble her. The die set includes two little hairbows which would be cute in pink, but I wanted to save some bling for the glittered snowflakes. A stitched smile would be sweet – but I took the easy way out and just cut an extra eye circle from glittered craft foam.
Cut the 4-¼" x 5-½" Stitched Rectangle Trimming from textured white cardstock. Save the delicate frame for another project.
Cut the rectangle with Snowdrift Breeze. Attach it to an A6 (4-⅝" x 6-¼") card of textured white cardstock. Cut three of the snowflakes from silver glittered cardstock and attach them as inlays. Attach the angel – use foam dots behind her head for a bit of a boost. The layers of felt may call for extra postage – please check with your post office.
