I’ve been away a lot for the last two months, and it’s clutch time for making Christmas cards. I have a trio of Clean & Simple cards for you today that come together quickly. By changing the frames, you have a nice variation as well.
These cards feature the beautiful Gilded Scroll Ornament from the new Holiday Harmony collection. I chose three different frames as the backgrounds: the Heritage Rectangle Frames, the Fan Stitch Scalloped Arch Frames, and the Cinched Frames.
I die cut the ornament and all three frames from inexpensive watercolor paper which has wonderful texture. The decorative scrolls and ornament hangers were die cut from gold metallic paper.
ssembling the ornaments was the next task, and I added each to a frames as well as adding one of the Merry Christmas White Foiled Greeting Tabs. There are a variety of fonts to choose from so like the frames, each greeting is a bit different. Once the panels were complete, I added them with dimensional tape to a card base created with the watercolor paper.
