Press broken china, faded jeans, cracked pistachio and wilted violet Distress Oxides onto a large acrylic block. Position the 1-3/4″ x 3″ Rectangle Basics die and cut three sides of Shizen Design Deckled Watercolor Paper. Paint the watercolor paper with slightly diluted, overlapping layers of ink. Heat-set the ink. Love how the inks mix and mingle and cover the little lumps and bumps of this great paper!
Cut Piccolo Snowflakes and Heart Wire from silver glittered cardstock. Here’s a tip – rub a wad of scrunched wax paper briskly over the delicate dies to make it easier to remove the diecuts.
Attach the diecuts to a 5-1/2″ square white card. Add violet gem stickers.
There’s also a coordinating set of Stitched Piccolo Snowflakes to mix and match on your holiday projects. Snowflake Wire – like the Heart Wire – can be used in so many ways too. Combine these great designs and make your cards stand out in any crowd!
