Happy Halloween

Good morning everyone!

Today I have a Halloween card which features some new dies from the fall release.  Next week there will be a blog blitz showcasing the 2017 fall release so please come back and check it out.

To make this card, I started with a piece of licorice cardstock  which was die cut using one of the Wrapped Stitch Rectangles.  The rectangle die I used was a little smaller than my licorice layer so I got a thin frame when I cut it out.  I glued the frame to a white card base.  Next I die cut the spider web in the center of the licorice die cut rectangle.  For the background behind the spider web I used a scrap piece of acrylic painted paper from another project.  

I glued this spider web layer to the card base and then spattered the card front with orange paint.  The bats were die cut from white cardstock and adhered to the card front.  I stamped the Happy Halloween on a strip of persimmon cardstock and glued to the card.  

To finish the card I added some black bling to the bats eyes and a black button.
