It’s hard to imagine a cuter snowman than this one, and his pretty red birdie friend is just delightful. I die cut the snowman from white cardstock, backed his eyes with a black marker and colored his nose with an orange Copic marker. His hat and scarf were die cut with scraps from the Lagoon Paper Pad, and I added dimension with some ink blending. I added some glitter to the trim on his had as well as the pompom. His “arms” were colored with a brown Copic marker. I also did a bit of on his birdie friend.

To create the background, I found a piece of light blue cardstock in my scrap box and added white paint splatters for the snow. Then I hand cut two snow drifts and added them to the background. I die cut one of the Nested Globes from the middle of a white A2 panel and layered it on top of the background before adding the assembled snowman and his friend. Finally, I added a gold star to the sky and a Merry Christmas White Foil Tab for the greeting.

I’m not anxious to see snow anytime soon, but I am happy to add another Christmas card to my stash. Thanks for stopping by!
