Rose Card
by Isha Gupta

Hello and Welcome! It's Isha with you today. Are you enjoying the new release products. They are fun to create with. I especially love love love all the Script words 🙂 But today, I used another of my favourite "Rose Bloom"

I really like the look of bold colors on black. This is one of my favourite look 🙂

I started with a white cardbase. I then took a black mat layer and die-cut the panel using Rose Bloom die. I then die-cut the same using a white cardstock. Now I used the black die-cut mat layer and used this as my reference to sponge some pink and yellow distress inks to the white base layer. I flicked some white paint to this.

I then colored in the white leaves using zig clean color real brush markers. Now I adhered the black die-cut layer to the base and adhered the leaves using adhesive onto to the base. I curled the tips to give some dimension.

Now, I die-cut a black frame and adhered it to the card. I added some Nuvo glitter drops to the tiny circles. This gives a beautiful effect.

Here is a close up.

To finish, I assembled everything together. Stamped and embossed the sentiment from the Birch Press design "Just Because Stamp", cut a stripe and adhered to the card.

Hope you got inspired from today's card. Have a wonderful crafty day!

  2. I agree with the other commentators, this is just stunning! I love the black on black with your frame and how the rose is partially inlaid and partially popped up for even more dimension! So beautiful!
