Hello, hello… Penny here today with a Halloween greeting. It is just around the corner. Are you ready? As soon as I saw the Cool Cat, I knew he had to be incorporated into a Halloween card. For cat lovers, this die will be a year round staple in your craft room.
Let’s do this:
As always start with a White cardstock base measuring 4.25 x 5.50 inches when folded.
Layer the base with Black cardstock.
Die cut White cardstock with the largest of the Wrapped Scalloped Rectangles. Go ahead and adhere it to card front.
Die cut Cottage Garden Gate, Plump Pumpkin and the tiny pumpkin from Happy Halloween Channel from White cardstock. Die cut Cool Cat and Playful Boo from Black cardstock. For a bit of color, die cut Boo from Orange cardstock also. Stack and adhere the letters slightly off center.
Color the gate with light gray marker. Color pumpkins as desired. I used Spectrum Noir markers, but use whatever medium you have available.
Assemble card front as shown. Use foam adhesive for Cool Cat and tiny pumpkin.
Shade the ground under the gate with green and gray markers, then adhere the greeting.
