Embossing Over Stencils
by Michelle Bala

Hello there! Michelle here, sharing a bright and happy card!  Here are the steps to create this card:

  1. Adhere stencil to a piece of 4 1/4 x 5 1/2 measured cardstock.
  2. Ink up the stencil. I used squeezed lemonade, dried marigold, worn lipstick and crushed olive distress oxide inks. Remove stencil, allow to dry.
  3. Coat stenciled panel with anti-static powder.
  4. Emboss with sunflower blossom and leaves.
  5. Secure the die cut frame to the panel and run thru your machine.
  6. Adhere the die cut frame and insert to card base.
  7. Emboss the sentiments, trim and adhere to the panel.
  8. Embellish with gems.

Hope you give this a try!

  1. This has so much impact. Love the colours you’ve used, the stencil and the contrast of the stamping/embossing. Thanks for such a clever idea.
