Greetings friends. I don’t know about you, but I am in the process of making and sending thank you cards. If 2020 taught me anything, it is to be grateful for the wonderful people around me and to tell them how thankful I am for all they do for me.
For today’s card, I used one of the Memory Box 3-D embossing folders. Sometimes I use the embossed paper “as is” and don’t color it, but today I felt like a splash of color.
To make the design, I ran my folder through my die cut machine to emboss the paper. Remember to spritz the cardstock lightly with water before embossing it to help the details of the folder really become noticeable.
Once I ran my paper through the machine, I turned the paper over so that I was using the flat “de-bossed” side of the paper ranter than the bumpy side of the paper.
First, I sponged on some Tumbled Glass Distress Ink:

Next, I added some Stormy Sky Distress Ink to the top and sides of the card:

Finally, a little Bundled Sage to color the trees:

To finish the card, I added my sentiment to the center. I am also thinking about using this design for winter birthdays.
I hope you are all having a fabulous weekend!
