Good morning everyone! Welcome to day two of the 2021 Memory Box Valentines Day release and blog blitz.
Instead of a card, I decided to make a quick home decor item for Valentine’s Day. I used a Tim Holtz wood vignette box as the base for my project.
I started by painting the box with white acrylic paint. Once it was dry I sanded the edges of the box for a distressed look. I also sponged the edges with black ink.
Next I die cut the word “HUGS” from red cardstock and glued them to the front of the box. I stamped the “xoxo” with black ink under the words.
To finish the project I wrapped ribbon around the box and added a bow to the top. That’s it! A quick and easy project.
