Greetings friends. I am so happy to say that there is a new Memory Box release! I was immediately drawn to the new Crystal Heart die because I knew that the possibilities were endless for how you decide to color the die.
For my card, I decided to use 6 colors of glitter paper from the Memory Box Frosted Glitter pad. I chose six because I figured it was enough colors that I wouldn’t have to worry too much about how to place the colors without the same color being next to itself.
To make the card, I cut out 6 glitter hearts:
Now I have lots of leftover pieces of glitter paper to make more cards. The glitter paper is thick enough that the pieces didn’t just fall out. However, I did place repositionable tape behind the leftover pieces so that they wouldn’t fall out of the die and I would be able to find the correct pieces at a later date.
I paper-pieced the glitter pieces into a black cardstock heart and then added my sentiment below. Here is a close up:

Fabulous design on this card. It would also look fab if you layer multiples of the frame and fill each section with translucent or glitter drops.

Beautiful die and a lovely paper pieced heart. Glitter and colour – what more could anyone wish for. I wonder if one could use Nuvo drops to fill each part?
