Rainbow Big Hugs
by Trina Pham

Hello everyone.  Things have been tough lately and I needed something happy and cheerful, so I made a clean and simple (CAS) rainbow card to share today.

I started by trimming white cardstock into 3/8” strips and colored them with Copic markers in rainbow colors.  You could avoid this extra step if you have color cardstock.  The strips were then glued onto white cardstock and a heart was die cut from it using the Double Stitch Loving Heart die.

Next, a Wrapped Stitch Rectangle was die cut from Bristol paper and the same heart was die cut in the center of it.  Adhered the panel to a white card base then inlaid the rainbow heart.  The Big Hugs sentiment was die cut from Bristol paper (3x), black cardstock and white Holiday Glitter paper.  Stacked them for dimension and offset with the black one for a shadow to finish.  There is a shadow die in the set, but it was a tad too big for the space.

I was having fun and while supplies were out, I made another CAS rainbow card.

And that does it for me.  Thank you for joining me today.  Enjoy your day.
