Black felt and Majestic Hues black glittered cardstock transform the new Serene Bird and Branch from sweet to spooky. Build a Madras Plaid birdhouse and add some ghostly visitors and colorful Halloween candies. Hi, Jean Okimoto here with a few more ways to use the great new designs from our 2021 Holiday Collection.
Cut the solid House Frame Background from a Madras Plaid Coral and Green sheet, then cut the circle out. Cut the circle frame from a brown sheet in the Earth Neutrals 6×6.
Cut it with the Gingerbread House Frame. Assemble the house and tie the frame with gold cord. Curl the cord using the side of a bonefolder or the plastic flower burnishing tool.
Attach adhesive lable paper or a sticker sheet to black felt and cut the Serene Bird. The paper backing stabilizes the felt and keeps adhesives from soaking thru the fabric. Cut the wings from the black 6×6 in the Majestic Hues Glitter Pad. Cut the beak from orange cardstock in the Sunny Orange 6×6.
Cut 2 branches from Serene Bird set from the brown Earth Neutrals sheet.
Cut the ghosts – from the Haunted Entrance Dome Layer set – from White Woodgrain Paper. Define and eyes with a paper piercing tool. Attach scraps of black cardstock behind the faces.
Cut the candies – from the Gingerbread House Frame set – from pink and orange cardstock in the Berry Red and Sunny Orange 6×6’s. Cut the candies again from the black glittered cardstock. Assemble the candies.
Attach the diecuts to a top-folded A2 card of Kraft Woodgrain paper.
