A bit of plaid balances the bold new Graceful Anemone on a simple foldout card for any occasion. There’s just enough space for a short note – and it all fits into a standard A2 envelope. Hi, Jean here with beautiful, versatile new die set from our January Anemone Collection.
Cut Graceful Anemone from a pale blue 6×6 in the Stormy Blue Collection. Sponge Morning Mist VersaFine Clair onto the three stamen diecuts. Add a bit of Pearlescent Yellow Brilliance ink to the petals.
Cut the leaves from green cardstock. Assemble the anemone.
Cut two of the Just a Note Debut Script background from the same pale blue 6×6. Layer them for dimension. Cut the detailed greeting from a medium blue Stormy Blue sheet.
Cut a ¾” x 3-¾” strip of a diagonal plaid from the Anemone Plaid 6×6 pack. A little plaid goes a long way when it’s paired with a bold blossom. Anemone Plaid’s colorful mix of blues, greens, teals and purples matches perfectly with several Memory Box 6×6 cardstock collections – Ocean Blue, Stormy Blue and Twilight Purple. It’s also coordinates with the popular (and sold-out) Lush Green and Fresh Aqua Collections that – hopefully – are in your stash.
Cut white cardstock to 4-¼” x 11″ Score it at 4″ and 6-¾”. Attach the diecuts and plaid strip – use foam dots for the petals. Add the purple-blue Treasure Chest Fairy Gemstones. Cut and A-2 sized piece of cardstock to protect the card front for mailing.
