Hello Anemone Rub On
by Trina Pham

Hello everyone.   The beautiful white/blue Anemone rub on from the current Anemone release was calling my name. 😉   I’ve only ever used rub on sentiments on cards, so having them as the focal point was a learning experience. 😂

Anyway, I started by trimming the blue plaid pattern paper to A2 size.  Used a rectangle die to die cut from the center of it, then die cut a rectangle frame from Bristol paper.  Adhered the pattern paper and frame onto an A2 size white card base.

Next, ink blended two gradient colours of blue dye inks to the top of the inside frame rectangle piece. and inlaid it into the opening.  Arranged and applied the rub ons onto the card, then die cut the sentiment from gold mirror paper to match the gold in the paper and voila!  Done.

My biggest take away when using rub ons is to apply and use them on flat surfaces.  I should have left out the frame. 😂   Lesson learned.   And that does it for me.  Thank you for joining me today.  Have a wonderful day.
