Hello everyone! Welcome to the new 2024 Memory Box Fuchsia release! There are so many beautiful dies and papers in this release that’s it’s hard to decide what to use.
I started by lightly blending Tumbled Glass Distress Ink on a white cardstock panel. I lightly spattered it with plain water and gold ink to add a little interest to the background. Next, I glued the background to a black cardstock mat and adhered that to a white cardstock layer. I cut a sheet of patterned paper and glued it to a white card base.
I die cut the Dainty Fuchsia Stem twice from white cardstock, and used Distress Inks and blender brushes to add color to the die cuts.
Ink colors used:
Flowers: Spun Sugar, Picked Raspberry and Wilted Violet
Leaves: Peeled Paint and Mowed Lawn
Once the die cuts were colored I glued them together to form the flowers. There is a QR code on the back of the die cut envelope that will give you a guide for putting the flowers together.
I glued the leaves and flowers to the background panel and adhered that to my card.
Next, I stamped the “Dream Big” sentiment with black ink to finish off the card design.
