Hello and welcome, it’s Angie here with a pretty framed butterfly get well card! Here’s another close up look:
The butterfly bodies and the background of both of the “Cherish Scalloped Frames” were made with pigment powders and water sprays, all on watercolor paper. The sentiment is from the new “Hello Butterfly” stamp set, stamped in black ink. The top layer of the butterflies is cut from white card stock as well as both of the frames. The butterflies I used are the “Glade Butterfly” and the “Sylvan Butterfly.”
I added some gold thread under the smaller frame and after putting all the die cuts on the frame I added the big frame to a large watercolor panel that was made the same way with pigment powders. To finish my card I added some gold gems. Here’s one last look:
