Hi everyone. Hope everyone is enjoying the summer. Here in the Seattle area it feels more like late August. I am hungry for some fresh picked pears. In today’s card I have Milo Mouse picking one of the Pretty Pear off the Branch and ready to eat it. I can almost taste the sweet pear juice.

Background:
Ink blend a 5″ x 7″ white note card using Distress Oxide Broken China and Bundled Sage to create a sky and grassy ground. I put the card on a stencil sticky mat to avoid getting ink on the back of the card. I also used a piece of folded up washi tape to keep the card closed.
Die Cuts:
Die cut the Milo Mouse, Mysterious Mushrooms, Pretty Pear and Poppy Stamp’s Forest Stump from heavy white card stock. Ink blend using Distress Oxide Inks. For pears I used Scattered Straw, Crushed Olive and a hint of Tea Dye. The leaves are Bundled Sage and Rustic Forest. With the branch colored with Scorched Timber. The mushrooms are Lost Shadow, Antique Linen, and Pumice Stone. The mouse is Antique Linen, Vintage Photo, and Spun Sugar. For the eye I used a black gel pen and the nose a pink water brush pen. The stump is Antique Linen, Vintage Photo and Walnut Stain. Adhere the die cuts using the envelope as a guide.

Assembly:
Adhere the pear branch to the upper left corner, Adhere 2 pears to the paper and one using foam tape. Adhere some leaves using foam tape. Adhere the stump to the bottom right side of the card, in the grass area, using foam tape in the center. Adhere the mouse on top the stump with glue but the upper part with foam tape. Adhere 1 of the pears in his hands. It looks like he just picked off the branch and ready to eat. Adhere the mushrooms around the stump and some fallen leaves. Stamp Happy birthday to you from the Sunshine and Wildflowers stamp set in black ink up in the sky.
