The suite of Playful Poppies products from the Spring Blooms release includes a 3D embossing folder and accompanying stencils. The embossing folder creates a very deep embossing which required a bit of adjustment on my die cutting machine. I found that using Letterpress paper created a wonderful impression.
I used the accompanying stencil set to color them choosing 5 different yellow and orange inks and two greens, all from Pinkfresh Studio.
After coloring the florals, I added the stamens with a Micron 02 pen and the anthers with a black Glaze Pen. Once the glaze dried, I cut down the image so I would have a narrow yellow border when I added it to the card base. Like the stamp set, the Playful Poppies embossing folder creates a large image but it fits on an A2 card base. I added a Thinking of You Gold embossed Black Greeting Tab for the sentiment.
