Sebastian Mouse swings by on a boy-ish birthday greeting today. He’s one of the great new designs from the Birthday Blossoms spring release.
Diecut Sebastian Mouse from two shades of kraft cardstock. Cut the eyes/nose layer from dark brown cardstock. Cut his coat from the leafy Anemone Grove 6×6. Cut his pants (part of the overalls) from a dark blue Lagoon Solid Core Cardstock Pack 6×6. Assemble the mouse and his outfit.
Prep the 3” wide Notched Eyelet Frame by rubbing it briskly with a wad of scrunched waxed paper to help release the tiny offcuts. Cut the frame from a light blue Lagoon 6×6.
Diecut the branch from the Magnolia Leaf Branch set from a green 6×6 in the Greenery Solid Core Cardstock pack. Trim some of the branches, then color them with a tan marker. The bottom leaf is layered over a trimmed branch. Attach the branch and leaves to the background.
Diecut the swing seat and rope from light kraft cardstock. Color the seat with the tan marker. Don’t trim the ends of the rope yet – it’ll be easier after the next step.
Attach the diecuts to a white A6 card (4.5” x 6.25”). Trim the top ends of the rope.

Stamp the greeting – from the new Birthday Greetings Clear Stamp and Die Set – on light blue cardstock with Warm Breeze VersaFine Clair. Dry the ink. Prep the second-smallest Notched Eyelet Frame with scrunched waxed paper and trim the greeting. Attach the greeting inside the card with foam tape. Cut an A6-sized piece of cardstock to protect the card front for mailing.

Don’t need a birthday card right now? This design could also be a thank you, friendship or get-well card with a quick change of greetings.
Thanks for visiting our blog – see you again on Friday!
