Flower-Filled Watering Can
by Karen Walker

I’ve always loved watering cans—in pretty colors or rustic metal. The new Rustic Watering Can is the perfect size to hold a flower arrangement.

After creating a card base from white woodgrain cardstock, I die cut a slightly smaller panel with the Heritage Rectangle Frame die and layered it on the card base. I die cut the watering can from gray cardstock, and used a darker gray ink to add some interest and dimension. The watering can was added to the front panel.

The flowers were all cut using dies from the Arched Flower Basket. I chose colors from the Sunrise Paper Pack and die cut the foliage from papers in the Greenery Paper Pack.

Once the flowers were assembled, I spent some time arranging the foliage and flowers in the can, tucking some behind others and peeking out from the top of the watering can. I chose one of the White Gold Foiled Greeting Tags for the sentiment, adding two tiny flowers as embellishment.

Thanks, as always, for stopping by.
