Celebrate another year and welcome spring with bright blossoms on tall stitched stems. Save time – and eliminate glueing – with simple stitched stems. Notched Eyelet Frames are perfectly spaced for stems – or balloons on a future card! Stitching stems with embroidery floss also adds a bit of dimension so you won’t need foam tape for the blossoms – just use a strong liquid adhesive.

Cut the 2.5″ wide Notched Eyelet Frame from textured white cardstock. Tape one end of green embroidery floss securely on the reverse side and stitch angled, overlapping stems.
Cut the blossoms and centers from yellow and orange Sunrise Solid Core Cardstock 6×6’s. Cut the centers from a light green 6×6 from the Greenery Solid Core Cardstock Pack. Assemble the flowers and attach them to the stems.

Cut the light green cardstock with the 3″ wide Nested Globes die. Attach it to a top-folded white A2 card. Add the frame and blossoms. Attach a Happy Birthday Foil Greetings Black Tab with foam dots.
Thanks for visiting our blog…hope you’re enjoying the ideas and techniques shared by our Design Team. I don’t embroider, sew, quilt, knit or crochet – but I can thread a big needle and stitch a few straight overlapping, angled lines!
