Sunshine and Daisy Umbrellas
by Jean Okimoto

Daisy Umbrellas keep everyone dry in a rainstorm – and cool and comfy on a sunny summer day. The Pinpoint Burst Plate adds sunshine and texture – and who can resist plush felt birds?

Cut a yellow 6×6 from the Sunrise Solid Core Cardstock Pack with the 2.75″ Circle Basics die. Place it face-down towards the right top section of the Pinpoint Burst Plate and diecut it. Cut black cardstock with the 2.5″ Circle Basics die and attach it behind the yellow circle to highlight the tiny dots.

Cut the Daisy Umbrellas petals from a bright orange Sunrise 6×6. Cut the centers and stem/handles from lime and medium-green from the Greenery Solid Core Cardstock Pack.

Cut the second-largest Cinched Frame from white cardstock.

Attach adhesive label paper or a sticker sheet to turquoise wool-blend felt and cut the main sections of the Wistful Sparrow and two of the Little Bird Bunch birds. The paper backing stabilizes the felt and prevents adhesives from saturating it. Color the beaks with a black marker.

Cut the Wistful Sparrow’s semi-circle beak section from orange Sunrise cardstock. Color the eye area with a black marker. Cut the top overlays from the turquoise Rainbow Reflections 6×6.

Attach the diecuts to a white A6 card (4.5″ x 6.25″). Cut an A6-sized piece of cardstock to protect the card front for mailing.\

Thanks for visiting…keep cool, stay safe and have a great weekend. Or stay indoors and create cards!
