Greetings friends. Isn’t the new Log Cabin Scene fun? It has dies to make it into a great winter landscape, but you could just as easily make it into a cabin for other season such as summer camping by the lake.
To make my card, I cut out the cabin from brown cardstock and then sponged the edges with Vintage Photo Distress Ink. I wanted the snow on the cabin to really pop, so I cut out those pieces using glitter cardstock from the Majestic Hues paper pack.
To finish the card, I added the wreath, lights and trees for the landscape. Here is a close up of the elements:
It is hard to tell from the picture, but I added clear gel pen to the lights to make all of the bulbs shiny.
